The Radiowave Operators Working Group (ROWG) meeting series sponsored by NOAA’s U.S. IOOS is the only event dedicated to the operations, maintenance, and data output management of HF radar networks. Widely considered the “must-attend” event for those persons operating & maintaining HF radars or working with data outputs, ROWG provides a unique, multi-day opportunity for collaboration on these topics. The next ROWG event is will happen 5-7 May 2026 at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. A virtual component may be available for part of this event.
CODAR Day @ ROWG-14, 5 May 2026
As with previous ROWG gatherings, CODAR Ocean Sensors will host a “CODAR Day” on Tuesday 5 May to provide detailed, product-specific information. Those in the CODAR user community attending ROWG are encouraged to attend CODAR Day to participate in demonstrations and discussions pertaining to best practices as well as system updates and advances in SeaSonde technology. CODAR day will also take place at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. A virtual component may be available for part of this event.
Registration for CODAR Day & the ROWG Meeting is expected to open in February.
